Vinification:
This Douro Red Red Wine is produced by the Symington family, entirely from grapes cultivated in their own vineyards, located along the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. The family is now in the fifth generation of Douro winemakers, although their involvement with the Douro wines rejects 14 generations until the mid -seventeenth century. The origin of the grapes is exclusively from the Symington family vineyards, located mainly in the noble subregions of Came Corgo and Douro Superior (village) of the Douro Valley. Stainless stainless vinification with reassembly and smooth maceration to low temperatures (23-24ºC) to extract color and aromas, limiting the extraction of tannins, resulting in an aromatic, full to drink aromatic wine. A significant part of the final lot is matured in 400 -liter French and American oak barrels.
