Description
The grapes that give rise to this wine come from vines in schistous soil, planted at an average altitude of 350 meters, with a northeast exposure, between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva.
Winemaking: Hand- colheita grapes. Fermentation is carried out by grape variety to enhance the precision in selecting the final blend that gives rise to this wine. Fermentation takes place in small-capacity stainless steel tanks, with the temperature controlled at around 28ºC. Controlled maceration is used to obtain an aromatic and elegant wine.
Tasting Notes: Great balance between the intense flavor of red fruits and the elegance derived from aging in French oak barrels for 12 months.
