Founded in 1946 by grandfather Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos, the Vinhos Barbeito company has always been managed by family members.
At the time of its founding, there were over 30 companies producing and exporting Madeira wine. Step by step, grandfather Mário gained clients in many countries, always striving to build solid and close relationships with them. Some of the current clients and suppliers are still from his time.
In 1985, her mother, Manuela de Vasconcelos, took over her role in managing the company, having already worked at Vinhos Barbeito since 1976, thus continuing the legacy.
Tasting Notes: Hints of greenish gold. Aromas of dried fruit, pine, and resin. Mineral and fresh on the palate, with a very long finish.
