Borges Reserva Branco

Borges Reserva Douro is a white wine produced from the Gouveio and Viosinho castes. With a straw and clear yellow, it has an expressive and intense nose, marked by the presence of tropical fruits, floral nuances, notes of bucho and limon, involved in abunileted aromas that result in a distinct and classic set. On the palate, it is an elegant and fresh wine, with excellent structure and volume, balanced by a unique acidity. It has a long ending and marked by a smoked character from the internship in barrel.

Founded in 1884 by the António and Francisco brothers, the Borges Vinhos Society early became one of the main national wine companies.

Borges Reserve is a complex and vigorous white wine in the Douro region that has a light color of straw yellow. It has exotic aromas of citrus fruits and tropical nuances such as grapefruit, lemon and mango, showing silky complexity and texture. It is a wine that develops a sublime oiliness and vanilla aromas, along with citrus acidity.

Vinification:
Borges Reserve is a white wine produced with white grapes of Gouveio and viosinho from the Douro wine region. After the pressing process, the wine was fermented, at controlled temperature, in stainless steel vats. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to new French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it contacted thin -lengths and where it underwent a regular stir for 6 months before being bottled.

TEST NOTES:
Borges Reserva is a white wine from the Douro Vtivinela region with lush citrus aromas, with grades of grapefruit and melon nuances, revealing a lot of complexity due to aging in French and Hungarian oak barrels. It has enormous balance, oiliness, minerality and persistent freshness, despite the dry character.
