Description
Description

At the beginning of the 19th century, one of the most interesting pages of Portuguese Wine was born, with the launch of a wine that would become an icon, the target of greed, but which was always kept, by its own will, out of the limelight. .

Its creator, Alexandre de Almeida, imported the concept of combining luxury hotels with a wine cellar and its own wine, thus creating the rare and historic Buçaco wines, produced in the beautiful Palácio do Bussaco, in the mountains north of Coimbra .

These are wines that have not adopted modernisms and that have enormous aging potential, being able to remain in the bottle for decades.

Tasting notes: The Buçaco 2002 has a beautiful red fruit, which is associated with spicy notes and dried leaves. Fresh and elegant in style. Balanced and assertive, it shows the best that was made in this harvest. It's in a superb moment.
