Winemaking of Carm Reserva Tinto 2020: bunches that were not in perfect condition were removed, total destemming, gentle crushing and thermal shock, followed by a period of pre-fermentation cold maceration in a lagar for about 12 to 24 hours, after which the must was transferred to wide and shallow fermentation vats, maceration for 8 days at 22ºC. Aging: 18 months in barrels, 70% French oak (225L) and 30% American oak (300L).

Aroma
Very fresh and intense with notes of wild black berries and black cherries balanced with seductive hints of licorice, the aroma being further enhanced by woody notes.
Flavor
On the palate it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and a smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish that strongly demonstrates the vigor of the wines from the Douro Superior region.
