Description

Casa Relvas presents “DE.ZAS.SE.TE”, the latest release from the Alentejo producer. Named after its characteristic alcohol content (17% alcohol by volume), this wine is the result of a special year.

“We have felt for some time that there was space and interest in the market for wines with these characteristics. We hadn't yet managed to find the balance and structure that these wines need, but in 2020 we managed to do so. It was a difficult year in Alentejo, but the hot, dry summer and the cold, dry nights during maturation allowed us to preserve the acidity and achieve very balanced levels of phenolic maturation, which is very necessary in wines with this profile.” - explains Alexandre Relvas, CEO of Casa Relvas.

Produced from grapes of the Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Franca and Trincadeira varieties, planted in clay-limestone soils in the lands of Vidigueira, this wine aged for nine months in 3,000-liter barrels, and is now ready to be enjoyed. With a production of 10,000 bottles, “DE.ZAS.SE.TE” is now available.
