Casal Santa Maria Reserva Branco

VINEYARDS : Grapes from our original vineyards, planted in 2006 by Mr. Barão Bodo von Bruemmer, located in Casal Sta. Maria.

YEAR: 2022 was a year of above-normal temperatures and severe drought for 9 months. There were also episodes of very intense rain that caused flooding. For viticulture it was a very good year with good quality grapes and very interesting yields.

VINIFICATION : The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected in the winery before being crushed and cold pressed. After static decantation, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on fine fermentation lees until April.

CONSUMPTION : It should be drunk at around 8-10ºC and can benefit from aging in the bottle for 6 years.
