ORIGIN - In this wine we seek the aromatic concentration and high acidity of grapes from traditional vineyards in the high altitudes of the Upper Douro, in the transition from schist to granitic soils, allowing us to showcase the full character of the native Douro grape varieties, resulting in very mineral and creamy wines.

VINIFICATION and Aging - Hand-harvested into small perforated 15 kg boxes, whole bunches without destemming, using very gentle crushing and pressing processes. Great care is taken to ensure that all pre-fermentation operations are carried out with the utmost precision, so as to interfere as little as possible with the intrinsic quality of the grapes. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts; 20% of the must fermented and aged in used French oak barrels with stirring of fine lees – 'batonnage' – for 4 months, with the remaining 80% aged in vats.
stainless steel.

TASTING NOTES - Complex aroma, with a mineral character balanced with exotic fruits, citrus and white wildflowers, as well as subtle oak notes. On the palate it is rich and creamy, with volume and freshness, very long.
