Crasto Branco

The first known records referring to Quinta do Crasto and its wine production dates from 1615, and it was later included in the first fees, along with the most important Thursdays of the Douro. Quinta do Crasto was acquired by Constantino de Almeida, founder of the Constantino brand and wine house that was noted for the production and export of port and also from Brandy, and whose advertising slogan "The Fame of Constantine comes from far away" to this day.

In 1981, Leonor Roquette, daughter of Fernando Moreira D'Almeida, and her husband Jorge Roquette took over the majority of capital and the management of property and, with the help of their children, began the process of remodeling and extension of the vineyards, As well as the Douro Wine Production Project of Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC), for which Quinta do Crasto is widely known, nationally and internationally. This is thus the fourth generation of the family ahead of the management of this emblematic farm that seduces to the quality that makes a point of printing in all its products.

Douro Crasto Branco Wine is elaborated from a selection of the best grapes, featuring a modern style, of great freshness and aromatic expression with signing of the duo of winemaker Manuel Lobo and Dominic Morris.
