Crasto Superior Branco

Bright lemon color. Excellent nose intensity, with fresh citrus and tropical fruits, delicate notes of orange flower and a marked minerality. Elegant beginning that leads to a wine with large volume and texture. The palate offers citrus and mineral notes involved in a vibrant acidity. The ending is fresh, balanced and persistent.

Vinification:
The grapes, from the Superior Douro Sub-region, were transported to the wine cellar in plastic boxes and strictly inspected upon arrival. The grapes were then deceived and pressed. The must was transferred to stainless steel vats where it remained 48 hours to 8ºC for decantation. Alcoholic fermentation began in stainless steel vats and the wine was later transferred to French oak barrels where fermentation took place for 45 days to 14ºC. 6 -month internship in French oak barrels.
