Bright lemon color. Excellent intensity on the nose, with fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, delicate notes of orange blossom and a marked minerality. An elegant start that leads to a wine with great volume and texture. The palate offers citrus and mineral notes enveloped by a vibrant acidity. The finish is fresh, balanced and persistent.
Winemaking:
The grapes, sourced from the Douro Superior sub-region, were transported to the winery in plastic crates and rigorously inspected upon arrival. The grapes were then destemmed and pressed. The must was transferred to stainless steel tanks where it remained for 48 hours at 8ºC for settling. Alcoholic fermentation began in stainless steel tanks, and the wine was subsequently transferred to French oak barrels where fermentation took place for 45 days at 14ºC. It then aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
