Winemaking:
Aged Tawny Ports are matured in oak barrels for long and varying periods of time, with the age indicated on the label corresponding to the approximate average age of the various Port wines that make up the blend.
Exam notes:
The richness of very old wines, combined with expertise, has resulted in a Port of remarkable complexity and refinement. It has an amber appearance, with a golden rim and greenish hues. The nose is characterized by evolved aromas of fruit, especially plums and dried figs, and toasted almonds. It finishes very intense, balanced, with notes of marzipan.
