Description

Our monocasta are unique. Produced by Esporão since the 1990s, they reflect the identity of the different castes in their vineyards of origin. Aragonez is a caste of great aromatic elegance, known for producing concentrated wines with good evolutionary capacity. Our monocasta is born from one of the first vineyards planted in Herdade do Esporão, in 1980 - the Canto do Zé Cruz came.

Vinification / Internship

In the wine cellar, the grapes begin the fermentation in marble mills, with foot on, followed by the malolactic fermentation in concrete cups, with temperature control.

A year in 5000 liters of French oak, followed by an internship at least two years in bottle.

COLOR: Bright grenade.

AROMA: Intense, with notes of ripe plum, fresh coffee notes and black chocolate.

Taste: Tuned and balanced. With the elegant structure that reflects the identity of the caste in its origin.
