Espumante Reguengo de Melgaço Alvarinho Reserva Bruto

Produced in Quinta do Reguengo exclusively from the Alvarinho variety. Cultivated in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, included in the demarcated region of Vinhos Verdes. The execution of an Epumante caste Alvarinho requires a special treatment, starting with a careful choice of grapes. This selection results in a must that ferments at a controlled temperature and originates the base wine for Epumante. Already in bottle, this wine undergoes a second fermentation. After several months aging, at low and constant temperatures in the cellar, the last phase, the “degorgement”, takes place. This process allows the elimination of existing yeast in the bottle and the replacement of the temporary cap by the permanent cork.
Open straw color with citrus nuances. Biscuit aroma with floral nuances. Explosion of flavors, where biscuits predominate. Some evolution. Thin and crunchy bubble.
