Description

Vinification:
The 2014 Special Reserve is a magnificent red wine from the Douro region. It is a classic, complex and rich wine that reflects the charisma and remarkable maturity of only some Douro wines. This is only the 18th harvest of a wine that was created by the Ferreirinha House in 1960.

TEST NOTES:
Deep ruby color. Intense and highly complex aroma, with spices, pepper, truffles and sous-boys, balsamic, resinous, cedar, tobacco and slightly mental box, ripe black fruits, stony and some cocoa, the result of good maturation. In the mouth has an excellent volume, live acidity, firm tannins, black fruits and spices, with an extremely long and complex ending.

Storage advice and serve:
Ready to consume. Benefits bottle aging between 15 and 20 years, however, remaining in its best for several years. Store the bottle horizontally, away from light and heat. The formation of deposits in the bottle is natural. It is recommended that wine be decayed before consumption. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.
