Winemaking:
The Reserva Especial 2014 is a magnificent red wine from the Douro region. It is a classic, complex and rich wine, reflecting the charisma and remarkable maturity found only in a few Douro wines. This is only the 18th colheita of a wine that was created by Casa Ferreirinha in 1960.

Exam notes:
Deep ruby ​​color. Intense and highly complex aroma, with notes of spices, pepper, truffles and undergrowth, balsamic, resinous, cedar, tobacco box and slightly mentholated, ripe black fruits, stony and some cocoa, the result of good maturation. On the palate it presents excellent volume, lively acidity, firm tannins, black fruits and spices, with an extremely long and complex finish.

Storage and serving tips:
Ready to drink. Benefits from bottle aging for 15 to 20 years, while remaining at its best for several more years. Store the bottle horizontally, away from light and heat. The formation of sediment in the bottle is natural. It is recommended that the wine be decanted before consumption. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.
