Guru Branco

Guru is a living testimony of the maturity of the vineyard where this white, fermented and aged in French oak barrels is born. The liveliness of the white castes that make up this wine is attenuated with the age and acidity of this wine is balanced by the contribution of the oak. Elegant, with grapefruit aromas and mineral suggestions, will evolve very well over the years.  Sophisticated, balanced, with tension. Long, with good texture and excellent final.

The guru is considered by the international press one of the best Portuguese white wines.

Founded in 2001 by the winemaker Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, Wine & Soul has invested and bought old vineyards and properties in the Pinhão River Valley. The couple's objective is to create wines that express all the character of the old vineyards and indigenous castes of the Douro, seeking the balance between concentration, complexity and elegance.
