Description
Black fruit and dark chocolate, good acidity and living and thin tannins, for this cut of two characteristic castes (one from Bairrada, another of Dão) where the rusticity of the berry complements with the elegance of Touriga Nacional. Light smoked notes due to the brief passage through used woods and light alcohol complete the picture of this typical and very interesting red.
Vinification:
Produced from Baga (60%) and Touriga Nacional (40%), this wine is vinified to enhance the primary flavors and the chocolate character of the berry, subject to a first vintage at the end of August. He fermented for 3 days in stainless steel vats under temperature control.
