Side Dishes: Ideal to accompany spicy dishes and game meats.
The nose is primary as it can be, with fresh grape aromas and even a slight smell of a winery with tanks in the middle of fermentation. On the palate, the wine is a big boy: chewable, but in layers, with purple peel and other dark fruits showing surprising elevation and freshness to this region.
Vinification:
50% of the wine was fermented and stepped on foot in traditional stone mills. The other 50% were fermented without a controlled temperature for 10 days. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Criticism and awards:
. 17 Large Wine Points Choices;
. 16 points wines magazine.
