Menin Reserva Red

MENIN RESERVA 2020 is born from the rigorous selection of different vineyard plots, requiring a greater investment of effort than anyone else. With a total area of ​​42 hectares, including vineyard plots ranging in age from 45 to 100 years, it was necessary to interpret the evolution of each plot with extreme precision to assess its potential.

VINIFICATION The different harvested plots were vinified separately, where the grapes passed through a sorting table, subsequently undergoing destemming and crushing, and were then moved by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. Pre-fermentation maceration was carried out at low temperatures varying from 24 to 48 hours depending on the grape variety, followed by alcoholic fermentation at temperatures between 25-27°C. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to 225L oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES MENIN RESERVA 2019: This wine presents a ruby ​​color, a full aroma of fresh fruit, with notes of wild red berries, blackberries, and plum, in perfect harmony with the spicy nuances imparted by barrel aging. On the palate, it has a solid structure, with lively but polished tannins and great freshness and balance.
