The 2021 agricultural year was a rainy one. During the vegetative rest period (Autumn – Winter), rainfall levels were higher than the average of the last 22 years, while temperatures remained mild. This rainfall meant that, at the beginning of the vegetative cycle (Spring), practically all soils had their water reserves completely replenished. Bud break occurred earlier, and the higher temperatures observed during Spring accelerated vegetative development until flowering. In Summer, the milder temperatures contributed to a regular development of the vegetative cycle, allowing ripening to occur regularly and in a balanced way.

VINIFICATION / AGING

Grapes harvested mechanically. After destemming and crushing, alcoholic fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. This is followed by pressing, malolactic fermentation, and finally aging in oak barrels for 8 months.

COLOR: Clear appearance, ruby ​​color.

AROMA: The aroma reveals intense notes of wild berries and black plum, complemented by sweet spices and a toasty finish due to barrel aging.

PALATE: Dense and balanced in flavor, dominated by dark fruit, enriched with subtle notes of jam. Attractive volume and a long, persistent finish.
