Murças Margem Tinto

Quinta dos Murças Margin comes from vineyards by the bank of the Douro River, where there are some of the oldest portions of the farm. Its low altitude and its sun exposure mostly to the south originate grapes that reach higher concentration and maturation.

Manual vintage, selection table, deceival, crushing, foot on foot, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC) in granite mills and pressing in an old vertical press. In 500 lts of French oak used for about 9 months.

COLOR: Intense, with violet laivos.

AROMA: Very intense and exuberant, where they dominate mature black fruits, such as blackberry and cassis.
