TYPE OF WINE
Muros Antigos Alvarinho is obtained from the noble variety Alvarinho produced exclusively in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço. The location of this sub-region provides it with a particular microclimate, being surrounded by a series of mountains that allow a unique combination of rainfall, temperature and light necessary for the perfect maturation of the grapes. This wine originates from sunny hillside vineyards with poor, granitic soils. The harvesting of the grapes that will originate this wine is one of the first to occur so that we can obtain its unique aromatic freshness.
TEST RESULTS
Pronounced varietal and citrus aromas. Fresh mouth attack full of minerality. Full-bodied, with great intensity of flavors and vibrant acidity. Long and complex finish, typical of the Alvarinho variety.
