Niepoort Dócil Loureiro

Dócil is the result of our search for a Vinho Verde that reflects the terroir of the region, with a balanced and rounded character and whose vinification depends on the vibrant acidity of the Loureiro variety. This Loureiro comes from its traditional home, the Lima Valley, and is produced from vines grown in granitic soils. The aromatic profile of this grape is wonderfully expressive, with a predominance of floral and mineral aromas.

VINIFICATION: The whole grapes were delicately pressed and the must was decanted and fermented at low temperatures.

TASTING NOTES: This is a white wine from the Verde region with a typically aromatic and elegant profile. On the nose it has floral and fruity notes of citrus, nectarine and tropical fruits. In the mouth it has an excellent acidity and a delicate structure. Finishes long and persistent. It is an uncomplicated wine that translates well the profile of the grape variety and region.
