Description
The producer wanted to create a wine that would take us on a journey through time and transport us to the origins of the wines of Trás-os-Montes. The aim was to express the terroir to the fullest, and that's what we did. We combined more than a dozen red and white grape varieties, and the winemaking intervention was minimal.
Climate and soil: Produced from grapes from a single vineyard plot, one of the oldest in the municipality of Alfândega da Fé and in Trás-os-Montes, managed using organic production methods. Schist soil at 600m altitude.
Winemaking: Stainless steel lagar with controlled temperature. Aging: In stainless steel vats, 1 year in bottle before release to the market. Bottling: 1230 individually numbered bottles.
Tasting notes and food pairing: Ruby red color, with a bouquet of aromas from Trás-os-Montes.
