Description

The producer wanted to make a wine that would take us back in time and transport us to the origins of wines from behind the mountains. The aim was to express the terroir as much as possible and that’s what we did. We combined more than a dozen red and white varieties and the winemaking intervention was minimal.

Climate and soil: Produced with grapes from a single plot of vineyard, one of the oldest in the municipality of Alfândega da Fé and Trás os Montes, managed using organic production methods. Shaly soil at 600m altitude

Winemaking: Stainless steel wine press with controlled temperature. Aging: In stainless steel tanks, 1 year in bottles before being released onto the market. Bottling: 1230 individually numbered bottles

Tasting and gastronomy note: Ruby red color, with a bouquet of aromas from Trás os Montes.
