HISTORY: Quinta do Noval is located in the Douro Valley, north of Portugal where Porto do Porto has been produced since 1715. Of among the large traditional houses of Porto Wine, Noval is unique by the emphasis it gives to its vineyard. It is noteworthy that this is the same in the Douro Valley that names the company and that its main wines from the Vintage Port, Quinta do Noval Nacional and Quinta do Noval are “Vintage de Quinta”. The goal is to produce large classics that are, besides, harmonious and elegant expressions of the "terroir" of Quinta do Noval. At Novaral, Vine is the center of everything we do. Definition: Carefully selected and aged in a hull for 3 years to get a lighter and softer style wine than Ruby. It is an elegant, delicate, amber and refreshing end wine. Castes: Roriz ink, Touriga Franca and Baroque paint predominate among the traditional castes of the Douro demarcated region. Proof of grapes: Quality grapes letter “A” purchased from our traditional suppliers on the outskirts of Quinta do Noval, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated region.
