When we were preparing the land for planting in 2004, we came across 1 hectare of land with completely different soil from the rest of the estate – deeper, less stony, more fertile, and with greater water availability. This plot is located in a more sheltered area, with fewer hours of sunlight. It seemed clear to us that, despite being A-grade land (considered optimally suited for Port wine production), we had an opportunity to produce excellent quality white grapes.

Just like with the red wine, we tried to make a personalized wine, with an expressive aroma and with a depth and freshness that characterize all our wines.

Aging: 8 months in French oak barrels.
