Poeira Tinto was born from the desire to make a wine that was balanced and elegant, not heavy, tannic, or boring. Unlike wines that rely heavily on tannins, Poeira is sustained by acidity, although these are quite noticeable. The elegance and subtle fruity and floral notes of Touriga blend here with earthy notes, heather, aromatic herbs, and blueberries, with brilliant complexity and finesse. The tannins are perfect, with enormous polish, and freshness runs through the wine from start to finish, leaving a very long and classy finish.
