Bageiras Farm, Abafado

Wine made with grapes from the Baga variety. Fermentation took place in small open vats and was interrupted with the addition of brandy, distilled in a charentais still using the double distillation technique. Allied to the grape variety that gave rise to it, the quality of the brandy proved to be decisive in the excellence of the final product. Contains sulfites.

Dark amber color. Intense, complex and enveloping aroma. Plum and apricot, dried figs, dates, pine needles, dried cherry and pine nuts. It shows intensity, strength, grit and freshness thanks to its pronounced acidity. On the palate and aftertaste, smoked notes and toasted rye bread remain.
