Exam notes:
Aromas of pine forest with notes of resin, pine needles, a touch of mint, and also wild berries and black plum. Creamy texture on the palate with well-focused flavors of blackberry and black fruit with hints of licorice, possibly derived from the substantial component of the Syrah grape variety.
On the palate, polished tannins are also felt, along with some tension conferred by the good acidity, which enhances the freshness and balance of the wine. The long finish suggests good potential for aging in the bottle. 50% of the batch aged for 8 months in 400-liter French oak barrels, second and third use.
