This wine comes from a 57-year-old vineyard situated on a north-facing slope with granitic soil, planted with the Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato and Códega do Larinho grape varieties, at an altitude of 600 meters. It has an intense and bright color with aromas of spring flowers and fresh lime. It is round and has good volume on the palate, with a fine freshness, purity of flavors and excellent balance.

Jorge is the 5th generation of a long line of wine producers and winery owners. Thus, in 2009, Sandra and Jorge acquired Quinta da Manoella, a property with a history dating back to 1838.

The vines at Quinta da Manoella are over a hundred years old, flanked on both sides by younger vines, capable of producing wines with high freshness and delicacy, and with a concentration that quickly makes them recognized as some of the best wines in the Douro.

Founded in 2001 by the winemaking couple Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, the company Wine & Soul has invested in and purchased old vineyards and properties in the Pinhão River valley.

The couple's goal is to create wines that express the full character of the old vines and indigenous grape varieties of the Douro, seeking a balance between concentration, complexity, and elegance.

Intense and bright color with aromas of spring flowers and fresh lime. Round and with good volume on the palate, it presents a fine freshness, purity of flavors and excellent balance.
