Quinta Das Bágeiras Red Wine

The name Mário Sérgio Alves Nuno may not say much to the most distracted, but he is nothing less than the great mentor behind the great wines of Quinta das Bágeiras. The history of Quinta das Bágeiras already boils down to the work of 3 generations, however only in 1989, and under the supervision of Mário Sérgio, did the bottling and sale of Quinta das Bágeiras wines begin, quickly becoming a reference in wines from Bairrada and in Portugal.

Although elaborated according to the procedures of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not fashionable wines, but are always in fashion, revealing with each harvest the character of the region and the people who produce them.

Tasting Notes: Vegetable aromas of pine needles, menthol in a peculiar balance with cherry jam and very ripe blueberries. Very fresh mouthfeel, very persistent and that “grows” a lot throughout the tasting.
