Barcelo is one of several grape varieties present in the old vines in the Dão region. Characterized by being intriguing in that it is as aromatically discreet as it is vibrant and textured. We can say that it is one of the main „fruits“ of our mini „laboratory cellar“. We have realized, year after year, that it needs a short stage in barrels and later a long period on the lees, but in stainless steel. But these and other conclusions are just the beginning of our learning and will surely delight those who seek to drink unique and vibrant wines.
