Description

Quinta das Maestras Colheita Selecionada is a limited edition obtained from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Aragonês grape varieties, revealing fine and fruity aromas, a balanced body and a long finish.

Quinta das Mestras is located in the heart of Dão, surrounded by a unique terroir. The vineyard is planted in granite and sandy soils and the predominant varieties are Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Encruzado. The history of this property, which focuses on other productions besides vineyards and wine, was also for decades the home of the region's teachers - the Mestras, the name given to this farm.

Color: Deep Ruby

Aroma / Nose : Notes of black pepper and black fruits, plum and blackberries. Intense, impressive on the nose.

Flavor / Mouth : T fine aninos, marked astringency. Structured wine, excellent freshness and a long finish. Aging potential.

Vinification: Fermentation : Stainless steel vats (controlled temperature to preserve the aromatic matrix). Aged for 2 years in stainless steel tanks

Stage : After bottling, it remained at rest for 6 months in a controlled humidity and temperature environment (10/14 ºC)
