Quinta de la Rosa has belonged to the Bergqvist family since 1906 and currently has 55 hectares of vineyards. Located in the northern interior of Portugal, 100km from Porto, it is situated in the heart of the Alto Douro region, in the area of 'A' quality grapes, on the banks of the Douro River near Pinhão. All of La Rosa's ports are produced using the traditional foot treading method, and some of the Reserva table wines also undergo cold maceration in lagares (traditional stone troughs).
Quinta de La Rosa Douro white wine is a very fragrant wine, with citrus and floral aromas. On the palate it is medium-bodied, very smooth and seductive.
