Description
VINIFICATION AND AGING The grapes used in the vinification of this wine come exclusively from the old vines of Quinta de São Luiz. The entire wine making process was designed to respect and translate the authenticity of the terroir. The harvest was carried out manually and the grapes were carefully selected in the vineyard itself. Alcoholic fermentation took place for 15 days at a controlled temperature, preceded by prolonged skin maceration for 30 days. It aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.
TASTING NOTES The vibrant ruby color with which it presents itself, takes us to an imaginary of red and black fruits that materializes in the proximity of this Vinhas Velhas, to the nose. Complex and with satiny and firm tannins, it expands in freshness, layer after layer, with a velvety and enveloping structure. general polishing that makes it quite attractive. Delicate and expressive fruit, all with great precision. Medium bodied, fresh and vibrant, an excellent combination.
