Quinta do Noval Vintage Port is characterized by the purity of the fruit and a fine and delicate quality that is typical of the estate's wines but which finds its most remarkable and lasting expression in this wine. balance, harmony,
delicacy and elegance are characteristics of our Vintage Ports, which are declared only in excellent years (3 or 4 years in each decade) and only when the wines meet Noval's rigorous standard. Even so, the wines selected for Quinta do Noval Vintage Port represent only a small part of our total production.

FEATURES OF THIS VINTAGE 2008
Wealth and power. 2008 was a year of low production. As a result, our
Vintage came out concentrated, structured and extremely aromatic. We found this small amount of wine irresistible and therefore decided to declare it Vintage.

VINIFICATION
The grapes are trodden by foot to obtain the must and then, during fermentation, they are again crushed in the Quinta's traditional stone presses.
