Quinta dos Avidagos Reserva tinto

Quinta dos Avidagos Reserva is a very elegant Douro red wine, very balanced, soft, with good structure, mature and with full and closed tannins, with extraordinary aromas to wild red fruits and very mild acidity.

Proof Notes:
Quinta dos Avidagos is a mineral and elegant red wine from the Douro region. It has wide aromatic intensity and presence of ripe fruit, with flavors of wild red berries and fresh notes of granite and moist shale. It ends with round, juicy tannins with mild acidity.

Winemaking:
Quinta dos Avidagos Reserva is a red wine produced from red grapes of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional of the Douro wine region. After a short maceration, fermentation took place, at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wines remained in stainless steel tanks, in contact with lees, where they were subjected to constant reassembly. Part of the lot was aged in second-pass French oak barrels for 12 months, before the wine had been mixed and bottled.
