Quinta dos Carvalhais Colheita Rosé

Vinification:
The Touriga Nacional and Alphrocheiro castes used in this lot were harvested and vinified separately. The vintage was done earlier than normal and so the grapes kept a good acidity and freshness. They were pressed very softly in pneumatic press, without crushing or deceival, the fermenting must for stainless steel vats at a temperature of about 14ºC-16ºC. Quinta dos Carvalhais harvest rosé was bottled after a short 4 -month stage in stainless steel vats.

TEST NOTES:
The slightly flushed color of this rosé alludes to the elegance of its aroma: soft notes of wild fruits such as raspberries and blackberries, complemented by wonderfully elegant floral nuances. In the mouth, the typical live acidity of the Dão region gives the wine freshness. Refined, complex and engaging, a fruity revived in the mouth invites a long and harmonious ending.
