Quinta dos Carvalhais Special Special

An intense ruby ​​color with violet tones. This wine has an aroma with prominent notes to ripe red fruits and flowers, a stroke often associated with Touriga Nacional. It has a balsamic character with additional notes of fresh menthol. In the mouth, the wine has excellent volume, well integrated structure and a very balanced acidity that invites a long and harmonious ending.

Vinification:
The grapes were vindicated by caste and field, and subject to strict quality controls. After deceival and gentle crushing, the grapes were sent by gravity to small stainless steel vats with temperature control, where they were vinified by caste. Alcoholic fermentation took place over a period of about 8 days at an average temperature of 27ºC. 40% of wine interned for 6 months in 225 -liter French oak barrels, with the rest in stainless steel vats. After aging, the wine was subjected to slight collage and filtration before traffic jam. Subsequently it has been bottled without cold stabilization treatment, so over time a natural deposit in the bottle can form.
