Quinta dos Carvalhais Único Tinto

Vinification:
The grapes for this wine were selected and vintage installment to the installment and vinified in individual lots. Throughout this maturation, repeated individual batch proofs have allowed you to have an accurate idea of ​​its evolution, allowing you to select only the best barrels with which to develop the final lot. This lot wine was then subject to collage and filtration before traffic jam.

TEST NOTES:
It has an intense purple tone and a nose rich in red and black fruits, harmoniously conjugated with notes of eucalyptus, pine and pine needles with oak and spice notes. In the mouth, firm attack and austere tannins, revealing splendid balance and elegance, fine acidity and remarkable minerality that gives it freshness and gives the wine its exceptional gastronomic potential.

Storage advice and serve:
Like most Dão's red wines, they have a long bottle life, easily maintaining its character for 10-15 years. Once opened, wine should be appreciated in one day, although it is for a while if it is tightly closed. The bottle should be kept sideways, in a cool, dry place. The sediment is naturally formed over the years of bottle aging and decantation is recommended. Once opened, wine should be appreciated on the day, in large cups that allow the wine to breathe. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.
