Quinta dos Frades Dona Sylvia Grande Reserva White

A white Douro with very expressive fruit and a tapAunillated/toasted touched by wood. The goal is always to be a reference white wine in the Douro Valley. With an average lemon yellow appearance. Pronounced aroma of grapefruit and mint, with slight vanilla and toasted notes of new oak wood. On the palate it is full -bodied, with vibrant acidity and a tone of citrus and some tropical fruit, all intertwined with very thin and elegant aromas of high quality wood; dry, long and mineral mouth.

Vinification:
A white was made with the intention of showing the highest quality possible to obtain with white grapes of old vineyards. To increase aromatic complexity and mouth structure, 100% new wooden barrels of 400 liters of capacity and very slight toast are used in the manner of Burgundy.
