Description

Santos Tinto Wine is a red wine with aromas of wild red berries and spices. It has a full-bodied and smooth profile.

Winemaking:
Produced with old vines (over 30 years old) from Quinta dos Frades, as described in 1951 in the Diário do Norte newspaper, the vines are innovatively planted on slopes, and several are planted on flat terrain. The grapes are manually sifted, destemmed, and foot-trodden in granite lagares where alcoholic fermentation takes place. Malolactic fermentation and the subsequent aging process are conducted in stainless steel tanks. Aging and bottling are carried out in stainless steel tanks for 12 months.
