The nobility of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, combined with the soil and microclimate, has given this wine a unique personality and character. This quality wine is neither filtered nor cold-stabilized, so it is recommended to serve it carefully, as it may develop sediment.

It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the "Terroir" of the Douro, and is expected to age positively in the bottle for many years after bottling.
