Description
This wine has as its differentiating characteristic the demonstration of all potentialities of the location of half slope altitude (500m) with the mix of the various traditional castes of the Douro. All of these characteristics, coupled with traditional vinification methods, gave this wine like complexity and elegance.
Vinification:Fermentation in laging with foot on foot. It ended in 500L used barrels for 16 months with Batonnage on the dollars.
Internship:16 months in 500L and 12 month old French oak barrels in bottle.
It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the "terroir" of the Douro, a positive aging in the bottle is foreseen for about 10 to 20 years after traffic jam.
