Description
Deep violet in color. Very concentrated on the nose, with notes of wood combined with black berries and dark chocolate. Balanced on the palate with ripe, velvety tannins, which give it excellent structure and harmony, as well as longevity. Very long and persistent finish.
Total destemming followed by crushing; cold maceration for 48 hours; fermentation for 6 days in horizontal rotating vats or lagares equipped with a cooling system and fermentation temperature control, followed by post-fermentation maceration for two weeks.
Twenty-four months in new French oak barrels.
