Trufa Negra

The black truffle and a wine produced with grapes of two installments of vineyards located in the Douro in the subregion of Came Corgo. The first, in Valença do Douro, is an old vineyard (over 70) and with a mixture of approximately 30 native castes. It is between 300 and 350 meters of altitude with north exposure. The second, at the mouth of the Távora River, is about 30 years old and a mixture of castes where Touriga Franca and Roriz ink predominate. It is between 100 and 150 m of altitude and is facing the spring.

Vinification

After a careful manual selection on the carpet of choice, the grapes are deceived and walked in granite lag, then moved to stainless steel vats where they fermented for a period of 8 days.

Internship

After malolactic fermentation, wine interned for 17 months in French oak barrels, 10% new and 90% used.

Proof note

The aroma is concentrated, with notes to black fruit and spices. In the mouth it is full -bodied, it has a complex flavor where the black futa and has intense but well integrated tannins that give wine a long and fresh ending. It is a very gastronomic wine.
