Vale Dona Maria VVV Valleys Red

Vale Dona Maria VVV Valleys is a red wine from the Douro region with an austere, imposing structure and vigorous aromas. Filled with ripe black fruit aromas, it is a red wine of powerful and complex tannins, notes of excellent wood, dry and mineral character and with stunning acidity.

Vinification:
Vale Dona Maria VVV Valleys is a red wine, produced from the old vineyards of the field mixture, of the three valleys surrounding the property of Quinta Vale Dona Maria, in the Douro region. After a long 12 -day maceration in the cold, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, the temperature controlled for another 26 days. The wine remained in new French oak barrels for 18 months and 12 months of maturation in the bottle.
