Regateiro Reserva red wine

A wine full of history
Regateiro, a family name with over 350 years of links to wines from the Bairrada Region, had a single descendant to continue the project in 1990, Casimiro Gomes. He specialized in the area of Viticulture and Oenology, building wine projects in partnership with other professionals in Dão, Bairrada, Douro, Alentejo and also in Brazil. He launched the Family wines as the culmination of combined knowledge and experiences.
The Regateiro Reserva red was a special tribute to my grandfather, using the typical grape varieties of the region, in order to respect tradition.

Awards and distinctions:
Revista de Vinhos – “With Baga and Touriga Nacional, you can feel the combination of the varieties in the intense and perfumed aroma and, above all, in the expressive mouth, with the soft tannins of Touriga and the vibrant freshness of Baga. A very balanced red, with plenty of polish but without denying its origins.”
Aromas: Very ripe red fruits, complex, with well-integrated wood.
Color: Deep red with purple highlights.
Aging: 12 in French Oak Barrels, 4 months in bottle before going to market.
