Alice Vieira de Sousa White: This Douro White wine is produced with grapes from our Quinta da Fonte. This Quinta is located at an altitude of 500 meters on the fresh plateau of Celeirós, facing east in a fantastic area for the production of fresh white grapes with structure. The varieties present at Quinta da Fonte are several, but they are found in separate plots, which allows us to carefully choose the varieties for this wine: Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio. The grapes were harvested in the Quinta da Fonte vineyard manually, and the grapes were later transported in small boxes. After choosing the grapes at the entrance to the cellar, they were destemmed. The alcoholic fermentation of the three chosen varieties took place for 20 days in stainless steel vats under temperature control. Alice Vieira de Sousa White is a very fresh wine with citrus aromas.
