Old vines with around 30 native Douro grape varieties.
The harvest took place in perfect weather conditions during the second week of September. The carefully selected and destemmed grapes fermented in lagares (traditional stone troughs) with foot treading for 10 days. Aging and malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Intense violet color. Fruity and mineral with fresh notes of black cherry, plum, and wild berries. Vigorous on the palate with well-integrated and velvety tannins associated with excellent fruit.
